Tanya Zouev is a photographer based in Melbourne Australia specialising in food, lifestyle and interior photography. Having discovered photography at the age of 15 she has been obsessed with taking pictures ever since. After photographing everything in sight at highschool with her first love, a Pentax K1000, she went on to graduate in 1994 with a photography degree from the famed Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. She has since relentlessly pursued her career in publishing, and in recent years focusing mainly on food.

Originally having studied traditional analogue photographic techniques, Tanya began training in digital photography in 1997 and now shoots approximately three-quarters of her commissions on a Sinar medium-format digital back and a Canon 1Ds Mark III. Her clients include The Australian Womens Weekly, Australian Table Magazine, Weight Watchers, Hardie Grant Publishing, Murdoch Books and others.
